Esteban Roa

Sound Healing Instructor

Esteban Roa is a Colombian American music therapist, sound meditation practitioner, and meditation teacher. With additional training in Reiki and Neurologic Music Therapy, Esteban is deeply committed to helping individuals foster a connection with their inner selves and with others. He currently specializes in creating therapeutic soundscapes in NYC.

His journey began with studying Music Therapy at Berklee College of Music, followed by a transformative clinical internship with SONO, where he worked in medical settings such as the NICU, PICU, and oncology center at Fundación Santa Fe de Bogotá and La Clínica de la Mujer. Furthering his expertise, Esteban embarked on a fellowship at UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital, where he also began a formal look into mindfulness through their Mindful Awareness Research Center. Since then, he has completed intensive meditation trainings with MNDFL and Three Jewels NYC.  

Esteban's dedication has led him to share the transformative benefits of sound and meditation with diverse audiences, from corporate settings like Spotify to cultural events such as the Panamá Jazz Festival. Beyond his professional pursuits, he enjoys the simple joys of life, often found playing fetch or hiking with his beloved adopted dog, Mowgli.
