Sound Bath x Reiki with Lok Yan Li + Jen Nigro

This 75-minute experience will blend sound vibration and Reiki energy as the ultimate evening of relaxation and exploration.  After intention setting and meditation, Reiki Master Jen Nigro will offer hands-on and hover Reiki healing to participants as Lok Yan Li conducts her signature sound bath using traditional Chinese bowls and Gong.  Leave feeling restored and ready for deep rest.

About Lok Yan: As a New York-based yoga teacher specializing in Hatha-style yoga, I immigrated from Hong Kong and faced challenges in finding practitioners and teachers who shared my background. I’m also a Vikasa graduate, one of just a few living and teaching the Vikasa method in the New York Metro area. These experiences motivated me to share my knowledge and experiences, aiming to address the lack of representation in the yoga community. I am deeply committed to continuing my education in yoga, constantly expanding my skills and deepening my understanding of this ancient practice, in order to create a more inclusive and diverse yoga community.

About Jen: Jen Nigro is a trauma educator + PTSD/C-PTSD Somatics + Yoga Therapeutics Specialist (SEP) in the New York Metropolitan area. Based in Brooklyn, Jen founded  her own practice, The Joy Project, which supports survivors with somatics + movement-based techniques to aid in trauma recovery. Jen completed her trauma + somatics training with Peter A. Levine’s Somatics Experiencing International + went on to study Dr. Levine’s work through Professional Education Systems Institute + the Kripalu Center. Jen is also a Reiki Master + often incorporates energy healing into her work with survivors.
