Chinese medicine and medical qigong are based on the Taoist principles of the Five Elements and Yin and Yang. The balance between these forces guarantees health, wellbeing, resilience to stress and promotes longevity. Each element is associated with different season, emotion, color, food, flavor, organ, activities, direction, body tissue, climate, sound, stage or of growth and development etc.
In this class we will learn how to best take care of our health and energy in the Summer, which represents the element of Fire. We will discuss lifestyle, diet, exercise, health recommendations and practice Qigong for the Fire element.
